That'll do nicely, sir. Leave it with me - I'll make sure that patch grows for you.6,927
That'll do nicely, madam. Leave it with me - I'll make sure that patch grows for you.2,803
I'm already looking after that patch for you.1,310
Hello there. Interested in hearing the tale of Serafina?1,197
Great! Now, in case you didn't know, the castle before you is Ver Sinhaza. It's home to the Theatre of Blood.1,167
The Theatre is run by a famous vampyre noble, Lady Verzik Vitur. She has promised that any citizen of Meiyerditch who survives the Theatre will be freed of the vampyre blood tithes.1,163
The Theatre has been around for many years and thousands of people have tried their luck against it. However, in all that time, only one person has ever survived until the end.1,160
Exactly. Serafina's younger brother was very ill and he wasn't going to survive many more blood tithes. She couldn't just let him die, so she did what no other person ever had.1,158
Well of course. When she survived the Theatre, she provided hope to every person in Meiyerditch. Hope that they can one day follow in her footsteps.1,156
Well I suppose she left Meiyerditch. Can't imagine any free person wanting to stick around here.1,155
Well... No. It was a long time ago. Not many people around who remember it.1,154
That looks like something that you can make supercompost out of. Fill up the compost bin with stuff like that, and you'll eventually have a bin full of supercompost.990
Every day, vampyres from across Morytania come to the Theatre to watch as citizens attempt the various challenges within.936
She entered the Theatre and succeeded in every challenge she faced. They say that Verzik wasn't too happy about that, but she kept her promise. Serafina and her brother were freed.824
You don't have a sapling planted in that patch. Plant one and I might agree to look after it for you.454
Hello there.386
That patch is already fully grown! I don't know what you want me to do with it!223
I'll want 200 Coins to chop down your tree.183
I want 10 pineapples for that.165
I want 15 papaya fruits for that.160
Why? You look like you could chop it down yourself!135
Well, it's a lot of hard work - if you pay me 200 Coins I'll chop it down for you.128
That depends on whether I have it to sell. What is it that you're looking for?99
I want 5 baskets of bananas for that.70
I want 10 watermelons for that.68
That's a stump. It'll grow back if you just leave it alone for a while.56
That looks like something that you can make normal compost out of. Fill up the compost bin with stuff like that, and you'll eventually have a bin full of compost.52
It's called Ver Sinhaza. They say it was once the home of a Saradominist queen. Now it belongs to Verzik Vitur, a vampyre noble.51
That patch is dead - it's too late for me to do anything about it now.50
I want 4 baskets of apples for that.41
The citizens don't need to be forced though. Anyone who survives the Theatre is promised freedom from the vampyres. It provides a little bit of hope in this dark place.39
Beneath the castle you'll find the Theatre of Blood. Every day, citizens of Meiyerditch take on various challenges set up by Verzik, all to provide entertainment for the vampyres.32
Yep, that's where we are at the moment. The region is split into two cities, Meiyerditch in the south and Darkmeyer in the north.32
I want 3 baskets of strawberries for that.32
A bucket of compost, eh? I might have one spare... tell you what, I'll sell it to you for 35 coins if you like.30
I want 15 coconuts for that.30
I want 9 raw sweetcorn for that.27
Meiyerditch is just one large ghetto. The city is split into sectors so that the vampyres can collect blood tithes on a rotational basis. That way they don't kill everyone off in one go.25
Darkmeyer is the vampyre capital. Humans aren't allowed there unless they're a personal slave of some lord or lady. They say the vampyres there live very luxurious lifestyles.24
Eh, I suppose I can spare you a plant pot, but I'll want 40 coins for it.21
Ranis or Vanescula?20
A rake, eh? I might have one spare... tell you what, I'll sell it to you for 15 coins if you like.19
Hmm, nothing has been seen of him for many years now. You can occasionally see Ranis or Vanescula flying about, but not too often.19
I do. I'd rather not talk about them though. Those kinds of conversations get you in trouble.16
Not much really. There seems to be three main types, juveniles, juvinates and vyres.16
Old Man Ral might be willing to talk to you about them though. He lives in sector one of Meiyerditch, directly west of here.14
Juvinates are initiated juveniles who've had some training and are starting to gain some powers.14
Juveniles seem to be the lowest form of the vampyre. No one around here knows for sure but the general consensus is that they're former humans who've been converted in some way.13
Then you have the vyres. Very nasty and very powerful. I wouldn't get on the wrong side of one if I were you.13
No one had seen anything of him for years. They say he's back now though. But we shouldn't talk of him. The vyrewatch might not like it.10
There's no such thing. You'd do well not to mention that name around here again.9
If you like, but I want 10 watermelons for that.7
Oh... Sorry, we're not meant to talk to the nobles.6
If you like, but I want 10 pineapples for that.6
If you like, but I want 9 raw sweetcorn for that.6
That patch is diseased - you should cure it before asking me to be responsible for it!6
If you like, but I want 4 baskets of apples for that.5
Vanescula?4
Hmm, nothing has been seen of him for many years now. You can occasionally see Vanescula flying about, but not too often.4
If you like, but I want 3 baskets of strawberries for that.3
I don't know what you're talking about - I'm already looking after that patch for you.3
A seed dibber, eh? I might have one spare... tell you what, I'll sell it to you for 15 coins if you like.2
Why, yes I am. Why do you ask?2
Well, I'm not wasting my time for free.1
Well obviously it's the seasons. They all seem to be out- of-wack these days. Summer comes earlier and earlier each year, but then it simply rushes by!1
No, sorry, but find that out and you'll get to the root of our problems.1
Hops are good for brewing ales. I believe there's a brewery up in Keldagrim somewhere, and I've heard rumours that a place called Phasmatys used to be good for that type of thing. 'Fore they all died, of course.1
You don't have to buy all your plantpots you know, you can make them yourself on a pottery wheel. If you're a good enough craftsman, that is.1
You can fill plantpots with soil from any empty patch, if you have a gardening trowel.1
Well I can tell by the look on your face that I'm not the first person you've asked. Why don't you tell me what you've heard from other members of the group so far?1
Did you ever consider that all those theories might be correct?1
I'll let you into a little secret that'll explain it all to you. In a word - fairies!1
I'm serious! 1
Surely if all of those things have been mentioned as catalysts to our problems it stands to reason that the fairies are actually the cause?1
Plant cure, eh? I might have some put aside for myself. Tell you what, I'll sell you some plant cure for 25 coins if you like.1
If you like, but I want 15 papaya fruits for that.1
Supercompost is far better than normal compost, but more expensive to make. You need to rot the right type of item; show me an item, and I'll tell you if it's super- compostable or not.1
